Comments: I was born in Portsmouth 65 years ago. Since Driver is a family name, I have always wondered for whom the village was named and if the village is where one of my grandparents is from. While in high school my investigation into census/court records lead me to believe that many records for residents of the area were lost in a fire. We moved to Driver two years ago and love it!
Everyone in the community is friendly and exemplify the kindness and goodwill of our fellow man.
There is a kindred feeling you get living here in Driver.
The natives of Driver have a warmth about them that you don't find in other communities.
